Moanoghar technical and vocational school is very important to enhance skills and employability of the youth and dropped out students. The technical and vocal school had been registered with Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) in the name of ‘Moanoghar Institute of Technology (MIT)’ in 2019. With approval from BTEB, currently MIT offers 360 Hour Basic courses in 6 trades: Sewing & Dress-making, Food and Beverage Production, Computer application, Graphic Design & Freelancing, Plumbing & Pipe Fitting; and Electrical House Wiring.

Every year, MIT receives students for two intakes: from January to June and July to December. Seat capacity for each trade is 20. All students, who enrolled in the basic courses, must attend the final examination centrally conducted by BTEB through Technical Training Centres (TTCs) in every district. Basic trade course are open to all – both boys and girls.
