Jhimit Jhimit Chakma, B.Sc., B.Ed., joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher in 1985. In July 2010 he assumed the position of Headmaster of the school. As the Headmaster he is responsible for overall administration and management of the school. Other than regular administrative functions, he teaches Mathematics and Physics. He received training on various subjects: subject-based training on Mathematics and Physics. He was actively involved in scouting. From 1985 to 2004, he was the Joint Secretary of the Bangladesh Scouts of Rangamati district and Chittagong region. He is a renowned cultural activist in greater Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). He is one of the founding members of the Jum Aesthetics Council (JAC), a leading cultural organization in CHT. Jhimit is also a playwright in Chakma language. He wrote and directed many dramas. In recognition of his contribution, Jhimit was awarded with the Arannok Deepu Memorial Award in 2015 by Arannok Natyadal, a renowned Theater Group in Dhaka, and Nattyojon by the Rangamati Zila Shilpkala Academy. He also has keen interest in folktale of the indigenous communities of Marma, Khumi and Mro in CHT. Also he is a collector of folk songs of ethnic minorities of Chakma, Mro, Khumi, Bawm and Chak in CHT.

Shishir Kanti Chakma has B.A (honor’s), MA in Bengali Literature from Chittagong University and also a B.Ed. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher on 3rd September 1988 and become Assistant Head Teacher on 10th April 2016. He is a renowned cultural activist and at present President of Jum Aesthetics Council (JAC) a renowned cultural organization in CHT. He wrote various articles on culture and literature of ethnic minorities in CHT. Also he write poem in Chakma language.

Pabitra Moy Chakma has B.Com and B.Ed. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher on 2nd March 1985. Now as a senior teacher he teaches Accounting.

Pulak Roy has B.A, and B.Ed. He did his MA in English. Mr Roy, now a senior teacher, joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher on 1st June 1984. He teaches English in senior classes.

Archana Talukder has B.A and B.Ed. She joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher on 2nd May 1985. She is now a senior teacher. She teaches Bangla & Social Science.

Arun Kanti Chakma has B.A. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher in January 1982. He teaches Mathematics and Agriculture in primary section.

Ashok Kumar Khisa has B.Sc. (Hon’s) in Biochemistry from Chittagong University in 2000. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher in January 2011. He teaches Chemistry and Mathematics. He did Certificate Courses on Teaching Methodology in 2012 conducted by NAEM, ICT in 2016 by BANBEIS and Post Primary Basic and Continuing Education in 2013 by BRAC. He completed Teacher Registration Certificate Course with NTRCA in 2011.

Padma Devi Chakma has completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC). She joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher on 1 January 1982. She teaches Bangla and Home Economics in primary.

Arun Kanti Chakma completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and J.P Ed. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Game Teacher in March 1989. He teaches Physical Education. He is a former student of Moanoghar.

Bira Kumar Chakma

Tirthangkar Chakma has B.Sc. from National University in 2013. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher in 2016. He teaches Mathematics and Science.

Litan Chakma completed B.Sc. from National University in 2012. He joined Moanoghar Residential School as Assistant Teacher in January 2016. He teaches General and Higher Mathematics and Science. He is a former student of Moanoghar. He completed a 6-month long Basic Computer Training offered by the Directorate of Youth Development of the government, Rangamati. He also received a training titled Training for Teachers at the Upazila ICT Training and Resource Center for Education (UITRCE) carried out by BANBEIS under the Ministry of Education. He is now pursuing B.Ed at the Teacher’s Training College in Chittagong.

................. Chakma is an Office bearer. He completed education up to Class VIII and joined Moanoghar Residential School in January 1982. He provides necessary support to the Head teacher including other teachers and office assistant to carry out the day-to-day activities of the school. He also acts as a `time keeper’ of the school.

Satish Kanti Chakma is a sweeper of Moanoghar Residential School. He is a former student of Moanoghar and Parbattya Chattal Anath Ashram. He joined the school in February 1992.
